I am Lee, and eriador.me.uk is my own patch of the internet. It exists mostly so that the services I care about answer to a name I control.

What runs here

• Matrix — a homeserver at matrix.eriador.me.uk, so my chat is mine.
• Pocket ID — an OpenID Connect provider at id.eriador.me.uk, which signs me in to everything else.
• This site — a static build, published straight from the repository.

The name

Eriador is the wide, mostly empty country west of the Misty Mountains: old roads, scattered settlements, and not much central authority. It seemed a fair description of running your own infrastructure.
